I want to place a security camera in my office to capture the motion of employees so, I want an advanced technology camera.

almost all DVRs and or cameras can be set for motion triggering of recording.

 

An IP camera with an onboard chip might be the best it could store a fair amount of video and you could download it is needed to another device/location.
