Need advice on home security system installation

Recommended Posts

I have been doing research and finally this is what I have and need your help in going with the right option. This is for a 3500 sq feet single family home where 4 cameras are sufficient - front door, garage(?), left side yard, right side yard, back yard.

OPTION #1 - Complete package with no NVR

Hikvision camera package with 4 channels $1569.99 + tax

DS-2CD2132F-IWS 3MP IR Fixed Dome Network Camera

Includes all labor,Cat 5 Cable,Power Source Internet converter,Memory Storage, 4 2048p HD Resolution Night Vision,HiK Vision Outdoor Vandalproof,App on phone or computer ect. Includes Ip address for life watch your cameras from anywhere you are at.

3 years warranty

OPTION #2 - Complete package with NVR $1900 (3MP Dome - Extra $200, 4MB Dome - Extra $300)

4 - IP Camera Dome

HD WD 2TB Purple Surveillance Hard Drive SATA

NVR-P 8CH 80Mbps Dual Stream CMS HDMI Audio/ RS4-485

Records up to 6MP Resolution

8x PoE built-in, HDMI and VGA output at up to 1920x1080P

1 Year Warranty included

OPTION #3 - Installation only (Cost $900)

I was leaning towards Lorex 8-Channel HD IP NVR with 2TB HDD, 8 1080p Cameras with 130' Night Vision from Costco (http://www.costco.com/.product.100239991.html) which cost $899. So with installation cost it would be $1800.

Many thanks.
