terenn 0 Posted March 3, 2016 Hello, I purchased a Samsung SDS-P5080N refurbished for use at my personal residence. It comes with 8 cameras that are wired. I am not the best at snaking wires through walls, and as such thought it might be worth it to see if you can convert the cameras to be wireless. So my question is that... Is it possible to convert CCTV cameras with BNC connectors to be wireless? If so, what is the most cost-effective way to do so? Thanks!
Sam228 0 Posted March 3, 2016 You absolutely can with the use of transmitters and receivers. That being said, prepare yourself for a whole bunch of wireless hate at every turn you take. I think the vast majority is going to tell you that wireless is a mistake and should only be considered if you have no other option.
Securame 0 Posted March 3, 2016 Wireless is a mistake and should only be considered if you have no other option. Not good at snaking wires through walls? Hire someone to do it for you, it will save you time and money.
