jpscfl 0 Posted March 4, 2016 Hello Experts, How would you handle this? I'm installing an HD-TVI Standalone Tri-Brid DVR that allows for 16 HD-TVI cameras plus 2 ip cameras. The customer wants me to connect one of the cameras to an HDTV, along with the standard connection to the NVR. Some of the HD-TVI cameras offer both analog and Hi-Def outputs, but that analog output will not be very sharp when connecting that to an HDTV using an RCA cable. I've seen IP to HDMI converters, HD-TVI to HDMI converters, but if I use these devices, I will not have the original HD-TVI output to connect to the recorder. I'm thinking the only economical option is to install 2 cameras...An HD-TVI to the recorder and a HD-SDI camera to an HDMI converter to the HDTV. It seems as HD-SDI to HDMI is the cheapest format conversion. Anybody care to jump into this mess? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

You are on right track but,,, buy another HD-TVI cam and 4 ch tvi standalone and use as tvi to hdmi convertrer HD-SDI is kinda dead Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
