jpscfl 0 Posted March 4, 2016 Hello Experts, How would you handle this? I'm installing an HD-TVI Standalone Tri-Brid DVR that allows for 16 HD-TVI cameras plus 2 ip cameras. The customer wants me to connect one of the cameras to an HDTV, along with the standard connection to the NVR. Some of the HD-TVI cameras offer both analog and Hi-Def outputs, but that analog output will not be very sharp when connecting that to an HDTV using an RCA cable. I've seen IP to HDMI converters, HD-TVI to HDMI converters, but if I use these devices, I will not have the original HD-TVI output to connect to the recorder. I'm thinking the only economical option is to install 2 cameras...An HD-TVI to the recorder and a HD-SDI camera to an HDMI converter to the HDTV. It seems as HD-SDI to HDMI is the cheapest format conversion. Anybody care to jump into this mess?
