aggiejustin03 0 Posted March 17, 2016 I'm looking to install a camera at the gate to the property. Not factoring in elevation changes it will be about 1200 feet. I would like to be able to also trigger the gate opener too. What options do I have for that distance for a high def IP camera? Do I have to use baluns? There is no power at the gate outside a solar panel and car battery to run the opener. Would PoE be my best choice? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
