kandcorp 0 Posted May 3, 2006 Anyone else currently using IE7 Beta 2? Just got it tonight, wondering if it's worth installling. Seems like it has a lot of firefox/opera/avant features. Hopefully it won't cause any problems with the DVR's.
Jasper 0 Posted May 7, 2006 No I haven't tried it yet. Try to avoid the betas. You might want to try this IE add-on? I have been using it for a couple of years now and it is great. Tabbed browsing, RSS feed detection, extensive popup and ad blocking and much more. And of course it is free! Microsoft was in talks with Maxthon, so I am wondering if they are incorporating the same features? http://www.maxthon.com/
DingChavez 0 Posted May 17, 2006 Or just use Firefox. Slimbrowser is good if you need some IE compatability.

Securitymaster 0 Posted May 26, 2006 Been using IE7 since beta 1, mainly to test against DVR's and whatnot. After Beta 2 came out, I haven't had a problem yet. I still have firefox as my main browser anyhow. On another topic, I just got Office 2007 Beta, and so farm it's a really good package, but I have to still see if it's worth the money to upgrade from 2003, to 2007.
