nigeandnippy 0 Posted April 6, 2016 i have a Dahua 16 Channel NVR (NVR4416-16P) and 4 analogue cameras for my birdboxs so was told i need a 4 Channel 960H Network Video Encoder NVS0404HE which i have bought but i am struggling to get the encoder to talk to the nvr it has a user manual but doesn't explain how to setup on a nvr please help Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
stevestream 0 Posted April 28, 2016 I've not tried that model personally, but i use myself an IES-500 http://ieslive.com/products/ies-500/ to encode all my VMS displays. It's taking a single HDMI feed from my VMS monitor compressing it with H.264, then streaming via RTSP for remote viewing and Multicast MPEGTS for my LAN. If you port forward to the IES-500 as well, you can access it anywhere anytime (with a internet connection). Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
