GilesM 0 Posted April 9, 2016 Hello all, I am considering a Swann CTV system, but have a question (among other options). If I go ahead I will be paying for the equipment and installation by a professional service. I would like the cameras to be fitted to the eves of my two storey house, with cabling running in to the attic. The DVR would be positioned in my office on the second floor. So am I right in thinking that the cameras have two cable connectors, one for power and one for video, both of which would need to be passed through the eves, in to the attic, then along the attic beams to a place were they can pass through the floor of the attic (the ceiling of my office) and down to both power and connection to the DVR. For three cameras there would be 6 cables, 3 of power and 3 connecting to the DVR. Is that an accurate summary, are my assumptions about the configuration correct?
