Samsung dome SCD-3080P - how to get it working?

I recently bought a SAMSUNG SCD-3080P CCTV Dome Camera cheap.

 

It has a BNC to connect for video but has a funny power connecter. Now I thought it was simple as, connecting a wire to the terminal and using a 12v 500ma power adapter but I cant get the thing to work.

 

The connector only has one wire to one side and is live only apparently. Unless is not working I can't see how to even power the thing. Any idea? Or what adapters do I need?

Did your power adapter 12V DC output?

SCD-3080P support 24VAC power supply and 12VDC power supply.
