muxer107 0 Posted April 22, 2016 Hi all. I have a DVR from aliexpress. It will no longer accept the password despite two of us being completely sure that we are using the correct password. No make listed, but the model number is A1008E and you will find plenty of examples of it for sale on the web. Here are some pictures from Google images: Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to reset this thing? This is my dad's second DVR after the first failed and now this has happened. I'd be eternally grateful if someone could point me in the right direction. I've tried pulling out the CR232, but that just stopped the clock, so no hope of resetting the device memory that way. I've also had a look at the chips and all I could identify was the video decoder. I can take pictures of the inside if that helps. I also have the device serial number which I can post if needed.
