kdberg 0 Posted May 31, 2004 This unit support an RS-232 connection to the DVR PC for less than 15 meters and RS-485 for greater than 15 meters. Is there any reason not to use a pair of modems on the RS-232 ports instead of dealing with the RS-485 cable? The runs I have to deal with are in the neighborhood of 50 to 100 feet.
