Remote access to my Dahua DVR in mac

Hello,

 

I've purchased and installed a Dahua DVR plus 5 cam's to my family business. Everything is working great... I've remote access in my smartphone, and I can also access by one DDNS address in Internet Explorer. But I only use OSX - macbook and imac - at home.

 

Is there any software that I can install that allow me to view my cameras?

 

With the address that I use in Internet explorer, I keep having one box asking to install controls.

I've just replied. It seems to be an app to control the DVR locally. I want to access it at home, while the DVR is at work.

 

Any clues how to configure it?

You have to use Smart PSS. It works from both local and remote.

It asks for user and password even before I nan set up anythung... How can I create one user?

The program comes with a manual for a reason. The default login is admin/admin.

Now, for the real problem... Where and what can I change so that I can see my remote cameras?

Is it the same software that Securame also indicated... I just can't figure out where I can put my address ( myaddresstwork.quickddns.com ) user and password,

Again, you know what manuals are for?

You need to add your device on Settings -> Devices.

Hi sorry to bring up an old post...

 

I have a similar problem... I am using a MacBook Pro using the latest iOS Sierra. I have downloaded the SMART PSS software on my Mac and everytime I input my password the application shuts down (Unexpected Error) Any ideas?

Also the Safari also does not work. Cannot find the extension..

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm using SmartPSS now... No issues.

Just PSS. Don't remember where I downloaded it however...
