Best mid range 2 cam CCTV set up for a house

Hi

 

Firstly, like to introduce myself as I am new to this forum, so HI!

 

I want to set up a two cam set up at the front of my property with decent/good night vision aswell, around 1,2TB of HDD storage.

I don't really want to spend over like £500-£600.

What make model would you guys recommend? I have been looking at Hikvision bullet & dome cameras, they look good. I don't need the new 4MP, I think the older 3MP will do the job just fine.

Hi. That is a good budget for even 4 camera system.

 

3mp with 2tb is in your budget.

 

What sort of lighting to you have at night and distance you want your cameras to cover

No lighting apart from street lighting. There is a lamp post accros the street on the other side of the road a couple of house down. Just need to cover car on the street. About 15-20 feet away from the house. We have a front garden about 3 metre long then the pavement about 1.5 metre long then the road. Im thinking the bullet camera will be better as will be postioned on wall outside property. So should be able to do 2 cam set up for lot less then £500. Do you know any recommended installers in west mids area?
