Need help identifying DVR and client software

I need some info on this DVR we have at work.

The front has a sticker written PST SM-KR5704CV

The bottom sticker:

 

Stand-alone DVR

Model Number: SM-KR5704CV

Version Number: V 2.10

Television System: NTSC/PAL

Power Supply: 12VDC/6.67A

Serial Number: 6100281

Date Code: 0643

MADE IN KOREA

 

I've been looking around the net, some signs point to a company named PST (Pace Setter Technologies) but it looks like they're out of business. The unit has an IP address and a port number, but I can't seem to get to a web login page and I don't know what client I could use to view the video.

 

Can someone please help? I need to review the video and don't want to sit at the actual DVR to do it.

Hi. Your system is a old Samsung unit. And it's not been supported for years.

 

You need client software which will no longer be supported with Windows also you need proprietary software to watch footage when burnt off.

 

If your looking at saving an event you have had then use the tv output and record it on another device.

 

But think it's time you upgraded your recorder.

Yes, i recommended that the unit be replaced. You mention there is client software but might not be supported by Windows. Do you know what the software is called and where i can get a copy? I still need to search for something and would rather use a pc. Thanks!

Hi. All that's is available is the smart viewer 4.5 but only covers DVRs from 2014 onwards

 

Look at Samsung support and send them an email
