najb69 0 Posted May 15, 2016 hi there please could any one help, i have the swann cctv system dvr8-4600 1080p the systems picture in the day is great but at night moving images like cars seem light just a blur people are also ghost like and unrecognizable , this is my second dvr as i took the other one back to maplins , same thing been onto swanns tech team not much help, any help would be great will add some pictures later thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
jtsecurity 0 Posted May 16, 2016 Ghosting would always be caused by the actual camera not the DVR. Usually ghosting will never occur when Infra red is on, If the cameras don't have IR then you would need Sens-up. Sens-up is designed to force the iris of the camera lens open for longer to allow more light in to prevent ghosting. Simplest option is to use Infra-Red cameras so ghosting will occur.
