reliable distribution amp

Hi,

 

I have blown up my second video distribution amp, like:

These things seem to blow up when you look at them funny. This time it was just disassemblying

and moving the wall plate for the feed from the DVR to the amp that distributes to the monitors.

 

Is there a distributor amp that is reliable? I am guessing that these have unprotected inputs

and are getting zapped by static.
