erik0000 0 Posted May 30, 2016 Hello everyone, I have a problem with my DVR. I have this NVR http://img.dxcdn.com/productimages/sku_394173_2.jpg Today I had the bad idea to update the firmware. The home seller sent me the updated firmware, but at the end of the update process, the system remains locked to boot. I tried different solutions to solve the problem: 1) I installed an update program that can be updated via network but the program does not detect your system and your IP address is not listed. 1) I have a simple USB drive formatted in fat32 and then I put in the BIN file of renovation. I inserted the pen in the NVR decoder but after ignition remains locked to the Boot screen. I managed to find the manufacturer of internal NVR card (NBD6904T-F) http://www.xiongmaitech.com/en/index.php/service/down_detail/13/99 Unfortunately I do not understand what it is and whether there is a procedure / method for a brick-NVR? Can you help me? Many thanks in advance This photo of problem: http://s33.postimg.org/7zvfbknsf/IMG_20160530_002507.jpg http://s33.postimg.org/p8b588qjz/IMG_20160530_002515.jpg

tomcctv 190 Posted June 2, 2016 Please, what is "USB-method"? what is the correct procedure? Hi. In some cases you can recover .... But it sounds like you have gone to far with trying to fix yours. Firmware from the same manufacture is the update. But you have also tried the board makers software ..... What doing that may have done is wipe clean the NVR card so you don't have a NVR software in place to recover You will be best buying new they are cheap enough now buy a brand name were you are going to get support. erik0000 0 Posted June 2, 2016 I did not understand, then you say it's beyond repair? I saw that many resolved with a USB pen + firmware copied inside. But what is the procedure? thank you.
