Motion Detection - Swann NVR

Hi I have a Swann NVR-7300 8 cam setup

Cameras are nhd-815s

 

Has anyone had any luck setting up motion detection properly?

Getting ridiculous amounts of false positives during the day and night. Sensitivity settings are set to the lowest and have tried random other settings with no luck. I understand that there will be false alerts coming through however id like to see if any one has any suggestions on settings that would help minimize them ?

 

Any advice, tips, or assistance would be awesome

I have all of my cameras on lowest and I have tried to define the areas and risk free as possible to avoid random detections but if it rains badly etc then I can get 200+ false detection emails through the night which wastes data- if you come across any solutions then post up

I tried to set it up using these cameras but it was almost impossible. Too sensitive.

I also set up this model of camera, but failed. So I have searched the related videos in youtube, it's helpful. Maybe you can also have a try.

To reduce false positives you can also connect your cameras to a service doing human detection over your feed. Then they only alert when a human is detected.
