houtx_gent 0 Posted June 4, 2016 I would like to put in a home surveillance system(outside) using wifi camera's and dvr capable of recording at least 30 days before looping over itself. I read on here to avoid the box systems. I would like at least 4 cameras to start, perhaps additional ones later. I would appreciate any/all advice/guidance. Don't want cheapest available but don't want to break the bank, so midrange maybe.
Boogieman 1 Posted July 14, 2016 In case of a tight budget, you might as well go for full HD Ethernet cameras. If you don’t have much technical idea with their installation, I’d suggest you to go for a custom order at Internet Security Systems. They have everything from 30$ to $30k, so you might stumble upon something to fulfill your requirements. Good Luck! I suggest that everyone avoid the shop you are spamming for. 51cent 8 Posted July 14, 2016 houtx, wifi cameras can be unreliable, they may fail when you need them the most. And the more wireless cameras you use, the more problems you will have. Go with wired IP/network cameras instead of analog cameras too.
