Moonwalker 0 Posted June 9, 2016 I have bought 4 IP cams and NVR from china. The software is similar as the one shown on the address - http://gdsdns.net/index.asp. I am looking for a good software for monitoring the cameras when I am away. The NVR software is not very responsive. I have tried iSpy and IpCamViewer but could not make it work. Anyone can help me please?
Daryl733 0 Posted June 9, 2016 Most NVR/DVR required manufacturer software to work. Those that allows for 3rd party are normally enterprise level products (read expensive) and would have pretty good accompanied software to begin with. Those software you mentioned works with IP Cameras mainly, not DVR/NVR.
Moonwalker 0 Posted June 9, 2016 Thanks for reply. I can access the cams directly but still cant figure out how to make them work with iSPY. Would you recommend any other universal Viewer software I may try?
Moonwalker 0 Posted June 13, 2016 The cameras have the following protocols - iCloud, i8S and AntsWebServer. According to supplier they work with goolink but I don't wish to use that. So has anyone more info on the other protocols?
martyn 0 Posted August 22, 2017 I'm very late to this thread but have the same problems with HD-Network Real-TimeMonitoring system. A bit clunky, Chinese translated instructions not easy, dropped streams and generally not very user friendly. Can anyone recommend an alternative bit of monitoring software that will work with my cameras - good actually, but limited because of specific viewing software needed. Thanks Martyn
