Compudoc 0 Posted June 20, 2016 Gentlemen - please excuse my newbie post to the forum, and I thank you in advance for your input. We have a client that owns a chain of theaters here in the midwest. We are installing IP camera (Axis/mix) solution and all going well but he hit us with a new requirement this weekend. His spec. for the "in theater" cameras to operate while the film is running: 1. Can operate in the low light condition that you have in any typical theatre. 2. Provides reasonable view of theater (avg 100' x 60") with placement on the ceiling (or near to) 3. Can deliver a view of activity of the patrons. Primarily slip/fall and vandalism protection. 4. Doesn't have the glow from the IR on the lens that you see on a camera So we were feeling good on this one until he brought up #4. Is this possible as ALL cameras have the IR glow that he is concerned about? I tried selling by telling him that the exit signs have a glow much brighter than any camera, but it was not what he was wanting to hear. Cheers! 360°
