macieqq 0 Posted July 5, 2016 Hello there. I am about to replace my old 700TVL system with some new cameras. I was thinking about buying IP cameras however they are a bit pricey and not really necessary for my needs (house/garden surveillance). Anyway, I am thinking about buying 4 in 1 cameras: CVBS/AHD-H/HDCVI/TVI 1/2.8" CMOS 2MP Sony Starvis IMX291 DSP HTC1080 processor 2.8-12mm ir up to 40m 1920x1080 resolution It is very likely that I'll stick with those unless you get it out of my head So now here's my question - I don't know which DVR to pick. It's between the one that supports HDCVI and the other one - AHD. All I could find about HDCVI vs AHD were some old (2014 or so) topics with just speculations and not solid facts. There's one youtube video comparing those two and it looks like AHD has way better quality. I could use some help with this matter and I hope you people can deliver. Thank you in advance, cheers!
