boney695 0 Posted July 12, 2016 Hello Please could someone please help me out. I have looked at loads of forums but I can not undersand where I am going wrong. I can only access my cameras using my own wifi, no one elses or more importantly via my 4g connection. I am in the UK and I am using IVMS 4500. I have attached some screenshots of my setup, including my router port forwarding setup, which I did a week ago. Any asssitance to get this sorted for me would be very much appreciated. Thanks a lot
Securame 0 Posted July 12, 2016 Disable UPnP. You have 10554 forwarded to 554, but your RTSP port seems to be 10554. So forward to the correct port. Configure the DDNS section on the NVR, and connect to it from internet using HiDDNS. You will never be able to access it with your private network IP (192.168.1.x). (or, you can go to www.whatismyip.com to see your public IP, and then try to connect to the public IP; you can also go to www.canyouseeme.org to make sure you have ports 8000 and 10554 correct). boney695 0 Posted July 12, 2016 Thanks a lot for your reply. So I have disabled UPnP. I have corrected the ports to 554 on both the dvr and in my router port forwarding settings. I have been 'canyouseeme' and all my forwarded ports can be sucessfully be seen on my public IP address. I have enabled my DDNS and connected it to the internet (I registered at HIKVISION DDNS and created a domain name, added my serial number etc) What else do i need to do to gain access to my cameras via 4G? Forgive my ignorance, what was this bit 'You will never be able to access it with your private network IP (192.168.1.x)' Thanks again, your help is really appreciated. Securame 0 Posted July 13, 2016 Configure your device like shown here: http://www.securamente.com/como-conectar-a-tu-equipo-hikvision-usando-ivms-4500-y-hiddns-iphone-y-android/ For iVMS-4500 access you only need two open ports, RTSP and server.
