asmith512 0 Posted July 28, 2016 Sup interwebs. Recently bought a house. That house needs monitoring thats a given . I am a coder so i figured i would build my own software stack instead of going with ie. zoneminder for the task. Software is coming along nicely and I've got proof of concept going with a ancient logitech webcam. So time to upgrade the optics , and hence the reason I am here, to learn about the optics and the hardware that encloses said optics. (another fun project could be to develop a licenseplate scanner..
