paulnye 0 Posted July 31, 2016 I bought a Hikvision NVR that has a 16 port PoE switch and also a single LAN port. It seems devices connected to any of the PoE switch ports cannot be reached from the network that connects to the single LAN port. Instead its a separate independent network. It means that I cannot manage individual cameras that are connected to the PoE ports from my computer on the main network. Is this intentional in the design? and is there a work around? Is there a big downside to just buying NVR without PoE ports and buy a separate PoE switch. http://www.hikvision.com/us/Products_1_10649_i8679.html
