speedco 0 Posted August 3, 2016 August 3, 2016 1341hrs I developed a home security camera idea with my neighbors. Where we each install a fixed fov cam on the roof of our houses (actually under eave .. out of elements and in shade). Each cam fov would be focused on the others house. e.g.:my roof cam would be focused on my neighbor's house across the street... his cam on my house.. etc. *** I need input/recommendations as to which cam this cctv community would relatively agree upon as a good cam option. My neighbors and I wanted flexibility in cams. i.e: PTZ, IR (100 ft min), IP, cellphone app, ... We are collectively confused as to.. we want a hardwired cam but how do neighbor across the street control cam on my house and vice versa ? Hopefully I explained well enough. All responses Welcome and Appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Eagleview Security 0 Posted August 15, 2016 Only way would be to go with IP cameras and use nanostations (wireless bridges). Easiest route believe me......
MistaTony 0 Posted August 26, 2016 Any IP based system will meet your needs. You can remotely login to the system and control the cameras, look at the live view, playback or backup the footage recorded. And this can be done on your computer or smart phone.
