cctv_down_under 0 Posted May 28, 2006 make sure you are using the correct baud rate, and make sure you are not wiring in star configuration, have you terminated the end of line and are you splitting the 485 signal anywhere. uglyb0b 0 Posted May 31, 2006 no star config; right now it goes straight from + and - on gvnet to ptz. not being split anywhere. according to the PTZ manual none of the dip switches are for termination. right now its wired from + and - from gvnet to the TXDI + and i. nothing is on the PTZ TXDO + and - since its my only dome. how would i terminate this? thanks, mike Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
cctv_down_under 0 Posted May 31, 2006 From memory, you do notneed to with lilin domes, however you could put an end of line resistor inbetween the txo- and txo+ you would need to know the correct value of the resister.
