LittleScoobyMaster 0 Posted June 16, 2006 (edited) hey all i use is Access Don't let Sarbanes-Oxley hear that... "Security – Information is a growing competitive advantage, as such security is becoming a mission critical need. Without proper security, companies risk losing that competitive advantage and over time will feel the impact of the effects on their bottom line, success and corporate well being. Increased scrutiny and forced inspection are also forcing companies to review the confidentiality of their data in order to address the demands of regulatory compliance, be it Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, or NCLB. Failure to change could eventually result in heavy financial fines, tarnished reputation or even prison time. By keeping their information in a less secure application such as Access, their data is not properly backed up" http://www.unicom-inc.com/allsegments/services/accesstosqlmigration.cfm Edited June 16, 2006 by Guest

Thomas 0 Posted June 16, 2006 I'm pretty sure the only way that Rory would have problems with the SEC is if they ran into him on vacation.
rory 0 Posted June 16, 2006 Id like to see him crack my access databases.. he cant touch them .. they arent in mdb files and are encrypted to the edge of the moon .. Sounds like hs is just someone that is looking to make money to me .. Kind of like MS saying upgrade to XP as its faster than ME or 98 LOL ... yeah right .. can you say shares in the hardware companies ... But then again im not making databases for the CIA ... its almost as incorrect as saying .net is better than classic ASP or VB6 ..
rory 0 Posted June 16, 2006 anyway, is the question answered so we can move on ..? Pirate cards are an issue for sure, Kodicom & Anykeeper more than any. Geo has email set up for this so let me know i can post that and you can get a response from them on the Geo Pirate issue at least. lastly, If someone buys any of these cards from China they can pretty much be guarenteed they are Pirated. Jasper 0 Posted June 18, 2006 Everything to do with everything other than the DVR is where the experience and true tweaking come in handy. The DVR is what you concentrate on in the beginning. The many aspects of choosing, placing and adjusting cameras is the most challenging and requires much study. You just can't beat experience. This siste is a very end user friendly site. I appreciate all that I have learned here as there is much to learn. The more you learn the more you learn you don't know. Anyway, my .02 cents worth.
