I have a logisaf h.264 hybrid 8 channel Dvr and i cannot get any of my wireless cameras to connect. When i search for cameras the only ip address that it shows is my router. I can get the camera's rtsp streams to play in VLC and i have tried every format listed below as well as using just the ip address of the camera. I would like to flash a new firmware to it if i can find one that will work. Does anyone have this dvr or familar with it. The model # on the bottom of the unit says DVR - 7308E and the pcb board inside says AHB780XT8-3520D-SA V1.01 20140819 Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

It has some camera that are compatible only with the dvr / hvr of the same factory, it has own communication protocol. The ONVIF protocol camera is usually compatible with almost all HVR / NVR, unless the Manufacturer does not place the ONVIF protocol on their HVR / NVR.

 

To know the Model of your DVR/HVR, save the in Advance / Import Export / Config Export Will generate the file Cfg_V4.02.R11.00000117.10001_201611191129.cfg rename it from cfg to zip, open it and look inside the ProductType.ini will contain the PCB model Example: AHB7004T-EL (in this example, firmware 00000081 and 00000117 Is compatible with this DVR/HVR
