Hitesh.Kirtane 0 Posted September 4, 2016 Hello Everyone, Recently I have installed two Hikvision Cameras in an office. I did all the setup and now I am able to view them remotely using a static IP through a web browser, but I cannot view the cameras on android phone using any app. I have tried all the apps & also tried changing media port settings several times. The IVMS 4500 app gives an error “Receiving data from device timed out.”. Kindly give some solution for it. I have attached some photographs for your perusal. Securame 0 Posted September 4, 2016 The first screenshot you are posting is NOT from a Hikvision DVR, so you will not get it working with iVMS-4500. Check out your DVR documentation to know what program you have to use.

I was just trying each and every app available for viewing DVR. I know that the manufacturer of my DVR is not Hikvision. I have also read the documentation provided to me with the DVR. There are no such instructions in that which will clarify anything about mobile view of the DVR. Any other solution?
tomcctv 190 Posted September 5, 2016 Talk about a post being confused. You show a dvr screen You say you installed 2 hikvision Your network settings show your cams are IP You state on your network settings that port forwarding is set right ...... Which it can't be as both cameras have same IP You need to list your equipment and some screen shots

dexterash 0 Posted September 20, 2016 If there is such a thing... Some people don't realize that, if DVR from A works with software S, there is a good chance that DVR from B will NOT work with software S.
Hitesh.Kirtane 0 Posted October 16, 2020 I know it's an old thread but still trying out everything didn't helped so far. Looks like this DVR has only support for Web View not for Mobile View. Let me know if there is any solution for this DVR to view cameras in Mobile View.
