cableman646 0 Posted September 15, 2016 Hey Guys, I have been a long time reader of this site and finally decided to join. The advice on here is pretty good and I thought I would try out my luck and ask a question. My son had an interesting idea of wanting to film the birds on our bird feeder. The bird feeder looks like this http://m5.paperblog.com/i/28/281886/5-bird-feeders-that-will-attract-a-variety-of-L-q5SFj0.jpeg and it is directly across from our shed. The shed has a flat roof, ( unfortunately the roof is black) and I think I am going to mount it on there. Issue is I have clocked it as hot as 116 degrees ( northeast summer can be hot ) I wanted to know what are some things that I should be wary of? I am fine with the wiring and dealing with the portable power, I just wanted to know if you guys could recommend a case so that I could create a year long timelapse for my kid. ( Do I need an IP66 case ? Should I use external lighting case or should I use a fake cctv camera case?) Any recommendations on dealing with the change in temperature between inside the case and outside of it would also be helpful because there can be dew on the grass in the morning (50s 60s) and be 80-90 at night, because that would fog up the lens (Worried about fogging) You guys are the pros , I am just trying to learn as much as I can so I can try and be a good dad to a ten year old who will not stop bugging me about this. I apolgize in advance for so many questions/worrying! Thanks, Bob
