Few questions picking home security cameras

I am looking to install security cameras around my home. There is a huge difference in a lot of the cameras and prices I am getting. I found a company that will give me 1/3 high sensitivity sony CCD chipset 1080p dome cameras. They are willing to do 5 cameras, dvr, and complete install for $1200. Does anybody know if these cameras are any good? I looked them up on amazon and they can be bought for $40 a piece. Some of these 4 camera systems are selling for over $1000. I am all about saving money for a quality system, but I do not want to buy garbage. Please let me know.

You dont state the make an model. How can anyone help you? There is WAY more to a camera than the two specs you listed.
