8 Channels 4 cameras How do I ?

I bought a Floureon 8 channel AHD 1080N system with 4 720P 1.0 MP 1500TVL cameras

 

I am new to the CCTV community and I am not tech savy. My wifes car was broke into and I bought the system to watch our property. I have the cameras up and running, however the system cycles thru all 8 "ports" and I only want to see the 4 ports that are connected to the cameras. When the system cycles thru the screens, I have 4 that show what the cameras see and 4 blank screens.

You can go into menu and turn off the r4 that are not conneted to cameras
