hdfaster 0 Posted October 1, 2016 I have a DVR that, when powered up, makes a continuous clicking sound. When it clicks the green power light flashes and the monitor flickers. I get no image at all on the monitor. It is a basic h.264 4 channel DVR. Just checking to see if someone with more knowledge that myself (easily done ) would know or have an idea what is going on with this unit. Any response is better than what I have now. almelst 1 Posted October 8, 2016 The clicking sound may come from faulty HDD. Try this: - disconnect power supply , open the DVR, disconnect HDD - reconnect power Buzzer should activate (HDD fault) but that's different sound. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
