h901 0 Posted October 1, 2016 hi might have a job to install cctv systems at a large farm. i was wondering what solutions other would use in this situation. i won't be able to use cat6 because of the distance. i was thinking fibre optic, but as i've never used this nor no anything about it. could anyone shed any light. many thanks

trish 0 Posted October 2, 2016 No I haven't. If the distance is 100 feet I have an extender in between the router and the cameras.. Other than that...I watch at night and during the day in the barn. Dlink has some nice P2P cameras and I have generic ones as well. If you google barn cams you can find some really good ones. http://trailereyes.com/ is one.
