kensplace 0 Posted June 3, 2006 Ken here from the UK (North East England) For me CCTV is a 'hobby' and something I use due to living in a less than perfect area (burgled twice, windows smashed twice, nice area....) Also into digital electronics/interfacing etc and software development, but not currently doing any dev work other than for the web (hobby again) Got a few camera's, lenses and waiting for a pan-tilt to arrive (got a pan only unit at present), along with a tecton kramplex multiplexer and vrc + a couple of capture cards. Still learning, loads to learn, bought everything over time on ebay (and suprisingly cheap, and even more suprisingly it all (mostly) worked fine) Probably going to build up some control hardware (anything is better than the plastic box covered in brown tape with a jamma cab joystick in that I currently use for the pan) to do telemetry for the ptz, if I ever find a cheap amphenol connector for it.....
