php57 0 Posted October 23, 2016 Hello, I bought a brand new DS-2CD2632F-IS from official store. I configured it (changed IP from static to dhcp) and all is working fine using POE. Just to say that I know how works this model Then I bought another DS-2CD2632F-IS bullet camera...on eBay. Few seconds after being plugged with POE, the camera will light the IR LED under low light conditions. My network switch POE led will activate (green). However, the LAN led remains switched off and the camera is not visible in the router nor accessible using any tool (web browser, sapd, ping, ...) It looks like the camera Cannot register on the network. Of course I tried to set a LAN with appropriate subnet, it does not work. The fact is that the router LAN LED where the camera is plugged is always OFF...So at this time, it is not an IP address range problem... I tried an hardware reset (using the reset button according to HIK procedure). No change. the camera is still not able to connect in the network. It only sucks power to light the IR LEDs. The ebay seller sent me another another one, and I have exactly the same problem. I think that both camera are bricked or something like that. If at least it could connect the LAN and get any IP address, then I know I could manage to access the GUI and change what I need, but even the router does not see any device plugged... Does someone has an idea ? Thanks a lot. Phil.
