Panasonic WV-CP254H day/night

Anyone have experience with these day/night cameras? I cannot find any reference to a cut filter in the brochure or specs.

Yes, I've used this camera before....just this past weekend.

 

Quite compact for my application....funny thing is, lense is bigger than the camera body!

Thanks for the info but I still see no reference to a mechanical cut filter. From your experience using the camera does it switch via a cut filter?. My Toshibas "switch" from color to B/W but they do it digitally and they are garbage for the price.

You could always call Panasonic and ask their tech support. Chances are its a digital day/night as the b/w lux rating is 0.15 which isn't too good for a day/night.

 

Why not use the WV-CP480? I've also used the Ganz ZC-NH255N and the ZC-NH403N day/night cameras, both were good. The 255N was suprisingly good for the money.

Yes, they have an IR cut filter...you can hear it when it switches. Guess they don't exactly mention it in the install specs.
