alex0618 0 Posted June 7, 2006 I have a GV800 question which takes 8 cameras. I only want to use 6 cameras. How do I disable the other 2? System keeps rebooting. I can't find nothing on the administraion console or on the manual on how to deactivate the camera channels that you don't want to use. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. smcneal 0 Posted July 27, 2006 The system should not reboot unless all cameras show Video Lost. You can disable the two cameras under the main configuration menu ... Add Video and Audio. I forget the exact name but I will be back at my lab in the morning. The two cameras activaed are not the source of the reboot. How often does it reboot? libertysurveillance 0 Posted August 8, 2006 the correct way to disable the cameras, is clicking on "audio/video install" then on the top left you can click activate in 7.x and i forget what it says in 8.0 and uncheck the check boxes. that will display a black screen on 7.x and "geovision" or something on 8.0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
