hk-online ----- device does not exist

Hi,

 

I am trying to set up my camera on hk-online.com

I purchased what I think is a chinese HKVision dome camera DS-2CD2145F-IWS

 

When I put in the serial no. I get a green tick, put in domain name and port all green ticks.

When I go to add the device I get the message device does not exist.

 

Anyone else had this and how did you resolve it?

It's an old one , but the procedure is same.

Note: all necessary port must be forwarded : server port, HTTP and RTSP port.

I worked my way through this but still when I go to add device to DDNS, in put serial no., domain name and http port. Still get message flash up saying "The device does not exist"

Hi. It now depends if you have a true hikvision .... Gray market

 

Also hik have changed there setup ..... Try changing the admin passwords before you submit.

Where are you from? You need to use the hik-online server given to your continent/country.

 

For example, in Europe we have to use eudev.hik-online.com

Did you set camera's DNS servers correctly? I suggest 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 .
