delboy 0 Posted November 3, 2016 Hi, I am trying to set up my camera on hk-online.com I purchased what I think is a chinese HKVision dome camera DS-2CD2145F-IWS When I put in the serial no. I get a green tick, put in domain name and port all green ticks. When I go to add the device I get the message device does not exist. Anyone else had this and how did you resolve it? Thanks D
almelst 1 Posted November 3, 2016 Follow this manual: http://www.securitytec.co.uk/downloads/Hikvision%20Products/Hikvision%20Help%20Documents/Hikvision%20DDNS%20instructions.pdf It's an old one , but the procedure is same. Note: all necessary port must be forwarded : server port, HTTP and RTSP port.

Securame 0 Posted November 4, 2016 Where are you from? You need to use the hik-online server given to your continent/country. For example, in Europe we have to use eudev.hik-online.com
almelst 1 Posted November 4, 2016 Did you set camera's DNS servers correctly? I suggest 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 .
