Tiger-G 0 Posted November 15, 2016 Hi Just joined the forum, as I'm looking to build the best home CCTV system I can for a certain amount of money, and I'm struggling to find any reliable information. I'm looking for the best 8 channel HD DVR, that I can view on a remote app, with at least a 2TB hard drive, for a 4 camera system that I can add more cameras to later. It's the DVR I need to nail at the moment, then I will add the camera's later. The way I tend to do things is to research something to death to come to the most logical conclusion. Unfortunately, this is soooooo frustrating on the internet, as there does not seem to be a definite answer. There doesn't even seem to be a top 5 of DVR's ?? There is just no reliable information out there. Hopefully, by asking someone in the trade, who deals with CCTV on a daily basis, I can move forward All I want someone to say this is the best HD DVR you can buy for £300'ish. There must be a DVR that stands out above the others ?? If I don't get any help, I'm gonna end up buying a SWANN !! Cheers, Graeme.

Tiger-G 0 Posted November 15, 2016 Hi, Thanks for the quick reply I can't multitask and research camera's at the same time as DVR's, or that will just push me over the edge and the computer will go out the window !! Damn this autism !! I'll be buying the camera's separate, and will probably be going for 1080 to try and capture some good quality images. Cheers, Graeme.
