lukek65 0 Posted November 16, 2016 i am thinking of buying a hikvision turbo hd 8ch dvr to replace my sannce 8ch dvr i have purchased a turbo hd camera but its not compatible with the sancce dvr but i am wondering will my current cheap cameras non hd still work with the new hikvision dvr thanks again! almelst 1 Posted November 16, 2016 Yes, they will! Hikvision's Turbo HD DVR's accept both analog and HD-TVI cameras on all inputs. On some models, same technology cameras must be connected in "pairs" (channels 1-2, 3-4, 5-6 etc. must be same type) but otherwise there are no problems with mixing old analog and "new" HD cameras.
