I'm hoping someone can help me.

 

I have the above Hikvision system which I'm really happy with. I recently purchased 3 cameras off the internet auction site. They were advertised as (HD 1080P AHD 2MP CCTV DOME CAMERA 2.8- 12mm LENS 30m IP66 STARLIGHT). The sellers service was great and they arrived very quickly, however they do not seem to work on my DVR and the seller tells me (after contacting him) that they are not compatible with my system. They also failed to work on the small test/installation ,monitor that i have.

 

Can someone please explain the difference between AHD (which i though was the make) and TVI which the seller tells me I need.

 

Is there a way to get these to work?

DS-7216HWI-SH is an analog DVR, it only supports analog cameras.

 

It does not support AHD cameras, and it does not support HDTVI cameras. No way to get them to work.
