Smart PSS Snapshot vs Recording Motion Detection

Hey everyone,

 

I'm trying to get different regions of my camera to trigger different events. For example, I want to record a larger area but I would like to take snapshots of smaller specific areas that contain movement. Is this possible? When I set the zone, I see that we can highlight areas in different colours and change the name. Is it possible for region one to be recorded and region 2 to be snapshot?

 

The reason why I want to do this is because if someone is at my door, I get a snapshot emailed to me, but if there is movement on the stair case or something happening across the street I want to record just in case it's needed later on. This also prevents my inbox from filling up with all the trees swaying in the wind and what not.

You need a camera capable of IVS for that.
