Pontianak 0 Posted December 3, 2016 Hello, So I have set up a DVR System by ELEC, and have set up the network side of things. I enabled port forwarding on my router, and enabled a DDNS hostname to connect to in case my cable modem IP Address changes. The DDNS Hostname properly resolves to my modems IP Address, and I can use online tools to portscan the hostname and see the appropriate port is open. I can put into the Android mobile phone app KiwiiCam the IP address and it will then connect fine, but if I use the DDNS hostname, it fails all over the place. I tried calling ELEC support, but their support number just tells me that the person at extension 101 is not available and to leave a message. Does anybody have any idea what's going on here?
