Pando 0 Posted December 5, 2016 With all the IVS and auto-tracking solutions available now on many Dahua cameras, is it possible to create a setup like shown in this video, and what models are capable at this point? Nv8ZFcG4tEw The video above is 5 years old! I'd thought that something like this would be available by now. I know still cameras with IVS can trigger a PTZ, but it only triggers a PTZ setpoint or a tour. Auto-tracker PTZs zoom in to track an object, but once the track is done they will zoom back out to wait for another trigger (missing a lot if there's action going on). This video above is great, as the PTZ aggressively tracks all subjects throughout the still-camera's field of view without zooming out. Of course this setup requires two cameras - one stationary and one PTZ, but they are linked somehow with the still camera providing tracking coordinates to the PTZ.
