Unable to login into Geovision Remote Viewlog Service

Recommended Posts

Hello!

From time to time I need to backup some events from elevator camera which is connected to Geovision GV-VS11 device.

Few days ago I've changed router at this system, because old TP-Link TL-WN722n started to lose WLAN signal which is the only way to connect to device and backup recordings (whole system is mounted at elevator roof and I have to call elevator service to access it). I replaced it with TP-Link TL-WR841N.

From this time I can't log into Remote Viewlog Service at Geovision Remote Viewlog Windows application. When I try to connect, it gives me error: "Unable to connect to server. Please verify its current IP Address and Port Number", the device have fixed IP and default port for viewlog service is 5552. I've tried to change IP without any success with connecting.

I can connect to Geovision Videoserver Web-Manager without any problem and change every setting. I can find device at GV IP Device Utility application, I get access to live preview from camera.

[in second elevator we have the same system, but with old TP-Link router. Everything works fine there]

Do You have any idea to solve my problem?

Greetings!
