CodeSection 0 Posted December 7, 2016 If this is not the correct area to post my questions, please let me know where I should post them. Situation: I am having a DoorKing pinhole analog camera installed on my gate's entry panel. The camera has 520 lines of resolution and will be connecting to RG 59/U type CL2 coax cable. Questions: Can this camera be connected to an analogHD DVR? If not, what and where do I find a DVR that will work with this camera? When I happened to read an analogHD DVR manual online, it says to only use analogHD cameras with it. I am stuck in using DoorKing's camera (http://www.doorking.com/accessories/camera-kits) due to how it integrates with their entry system. I really appreciate any and all comments! Thanks! the toss 0 Posted December 8, 2016 I only HD analogue DVR I use is HD-CVI so I cant say with AHD or HD-TVI but I suspect they would be the same. The old standard def cameras WILL work with the HD DVR but of course will not display a HD quality picture. Hope this helps.
